The toolset to work with SQLite had been disparate, with lacking quality and often not cross platform available. But SQLite is so lovely, there had to be something better, something easier. That users should not be asked to install unknown software to be able to use it. SQLiteDB is the answer to this pain. SQLiteDB is an endevour to expand the reach of the SQLite database engine and bring its excellent features and agility to the modern web and make it accessible to work with from anywhere. SQLiteDB is desgned to unleash the power of SQLite by providing a user friendly dashboard to create, update and backup databases; an API for remote software access to the databases; and tools to manage and design the database online. SQLiteDB HistoryThe idea behind SQLiteDB originated back in 2012, and a small proof-of-concept website was created. The proof-of-concept was successful and used internally. But it was not until 2017 when the final name SQLIteDB was agreed an and the domain name purchased. Then in 2018 a fully responsive modern interface was added, with the idea that the final users should be fully independent and able to do fully manage their databases from the dashboard.
